African Youth Agripreneur Forum (AYAF) Conference and AgriPitch Competition | 24th-28th June | Capetown

The 3rd African Youth Agripreneur Forum (AYAF) Conference and AgriPitch Competition will be held in Cape town, South Africa from 24th – 28th June 2019 under the theme “Climate Smart Agriculture: Business and Employment Opportunities for Africa’s Youth”. This year the AYAF will be held in partnership with Western Cape Government.

As the annual event of the African Development Bank’s Enable Youth Program, AYAF is expected to attract over 200 participants from across the continent, including youth agripreneurs, agribusiness companies, investors, environmentalists, academia, development partners and government agencies.

This year, AYAF has three key events:Three-day boot camp and AgriPitch CompetitionAYAF Investor DealRoomAYAF ConferenceObjectives of the forum will also include:To demonstrate and showcase the success and business potential of agribusiness across Africa for job and wealth creation, in particular for youth.To connect agripreneurs to investors, mentors, business partners, development organizations and other agripreneurs in Africa.To provide the youth agripreneurs with critical business skills and expose them to new and innovative ideas and technologies for business creation.Spaces are limited so it is advised that you complete your Forum registration as soon as possible to guarantee your participation. 
About the  AgriPitch Competition and Investor DealRoomThe AgriPitch Competition and AYAF DealRoom are a pitching, transaction and dealmaking platform connecting Africa’s fastest growing companies with financiers, mentorship and ecosystem partners.The selected companies will be able to attend AYAF 2019 and take part in the AgriPitch Competition and Investor DealRoom.

The competition is for youth under 35.The final deadline for applications is the 26th of April 2019
