En Guinée, l’exploitation minière dans la région de Boké détruit l’environnement et notamment l’anacardier, principale richesse du pays, au grand dam des populations locales. Les marigots sont souillés, les villages et autres localités urbaines ne sont pas en reste. RFI est allée constater les dégâts et rencontrer les populations locales.
Une tonne de cajou coûte dix fois plus cher qu’une tonne de bauxite. On vient aujourd’hui détruire ces plantations de cajou. L’environnement est pollué. Même les animaux ne trouvent plus où s’abreuver.
